Air Fried Potatoes

Oh man fried tators is something I was raised on. Breakfast, lunch and dinner- there was some form of potatoes on the table. Fried potatoes were usually the main form my mom liked to make. Her potatoes are still the best but she makes them old school and that means a lot of oil. I'm not a big fan of eating tons of oil everyday.

Thank goodness for the air fryer! A tablespoon of oil goes a long way and I still get to enjoy fried potatoes.

I'm feeding 5 people. Five of those potatoes are decent size, the little one in the front was much smaller than the photo will have you believe. It was too small to use by itself and it was the last one in the bag- so I used it with this meal.

Just get a medium sized potato per person, and peel and rinse the potatoes.

Before you chop up the potatoes, dry them off with a paper towel. The excess water and moisture won't let the oil stick to the outer skin of the potatoes. Dryer the potato the better!

Chop them up as even as you can get them for even cooking. Add one tbsp of oil. If you are using less potatoes, you will need to adjust you oil or leave it, it will cook either way. Toss the potatoes around touch all the potatoes with the oil.

Place them in the air fryer, and cook at 400 for 30 minutes. Or until golden and tender! Shake often to prevent sticking and to move them around to fry each of them.
